Annoying little B-list celebrity brat, Peaches Geldof, daughter of scruffy ‘Live-Aid’ organiser Bob Geldof, has apparently taken a shine to ‘The Great Beast 666′ himself, Aleister Crowley.
That pillar of journalism, The Daily Star
, reports:
We can reveal Peaches, 19, has become fascinated by Crowley – who filed his teeth into fangs and started his own religion – since picking up his book Magick Without Tears.
And she ditched musician Faris Rotter, 22, after discovering Chester French singer Drummey, 23, was also a student of Crowley’s dark works. Last night a source close to the couple said: “Peaches is obsessed with Crowley’s books and is completely taken by his teachings.
“Most of her mates think she’s nuts for getting into it all – they just think it’s too weird – but she found a kindred spirit when she met Max.
“Peaches feels he’s the only one who understands her. He even has the Crowley quote ‘Quo stet olympus’ or ‘Where the gods and angels live’ tattooed below his neck.”
I know that Crowley’s public profile is increasing, and I guess this was an inevitable side-effect of that, but come on!!!….Peaches….Geldof???
In other celebrity news, Jeremy Kyle has been spotted with Israel Regardie’s ‘The Golden Dawn’ and Jade Goody is said to have successfully complete the Abramelin Operation and is now moving onto invoking Goetian spirits.

Cute little thing. Hey, Peaches, I’ve been studying Crowley longer than Drummey. Give me a shot at it sometime.

Puzzling to see a 21st century young woman attracted to Crowley, a man who had rather 19th Century views toward women!
Sure, he had goddesses in his pantheon, but he wrote a lot of misogynistic things about human females, and he committed many misogynists acts, including murder-by-magick (more specifically, using magick to drive someone to suicide) of a supposed “Circe” who was “bewitching brethren”, or so he claims in his “Magick in T. & P.” More likely Crowley was just jealous the woman was attracting attention of his bi-boy-pal Victor Neuberg.
Peaches might also reflect on the fact most women who had the misfortune of becoming drawn tightly into Crowley’s sphere ended up alcoholics or insane or prematurely dead from suicide, if not always “magickal murder” via A.C. — instead of becoming the liberated, enlightened, strong women they SHOULD have become according to his philosophy and teachings. Many people, especially women, sucked into Crowley’s orbit ended up destroyed, not improved!
It has been said about William S. Burroughs that his infamous misogyny (which he abandoned in later years), may have stemmed from self-hatred of his own feminine side, projected outwardly. It’s possible Crowley’s own misogyny may have had a similar basis, an inability to reconcile with his feminine “Alys” side.
There was a big disconnect between Crowley’s espoused values, philosophy and claimed attainments, and his own actual personal practices, attitudes and dubious attainments.
Even R.A. Wilson, a Crowley admirer, admitted that when people said to him “Crowley was a monster”, he said “he couldn’t argue with them”. Wilson knew Crowley was very much a mixed bag, not to be swallowed whole.
Peaches, listen up!
